Dark circles and puffiness have always been an issue for some women. Here at Divas Never Age®, we constantly look for solutions for everyday issues that women like you experience.
Should you keep covering your dark circles? Try to Surgically get rid of them? Try new natural treatments? Embrace them?
In this blog post, I will do my best to guide you and help you to understand what dark circles and puffiness under the eyes come from and how to manage them.
YOUR GENES HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT.
Dark circles may have different causes, being hereditary one of them. Let’s first try to figure out why are you seeing dark or puffy eyes.
It’s more common to see puffy eyes after 50 because the muscles around the eyes become weaker, and fluids and fat collect under our eyes.
If you have puffy eyes or dark circles, take a look at your relatives if possible. If anyone in your family has them, you might have inherited a tendency to have them too.
I am all about adapting and embracing those changes that come with age.
If you read my previous blog post, you will learn that we have different types of beauty as we age. I am not saying that you have to submit to them, but you can embrace them and make them an attractive feature in your gorgeousness.
When we stop trying to hide what bothers us, people around us really start noticing our Diva status and glow!
I invite you to find beauty in your natural look. It doesn’t matter how people perceive others, trust me when I tell you that if you feel beautiful, people will see you beautiful.
Take some time off from trying to conceal your under-eye circles. Start using an eye serum with peptides, aloe vera, chamomile and other powerful ingredients like the Divas Never Age® Supercharged Anti-Aging Eye Serum to help your dark circles get better.
After a few weeks, you will start seeing results. But in the meantime, I would love it if you could stop worrying about them and just love them as they are part of your beautiful self!
TAKE A DEEPER LOOK.
Now, if your dark circles or puffy eyes only appear when you’re tired, it may be a good idea to visit your doctor and make sure that everything is ok with your sacred vessel.
Magazines, commercials, and in general the beauty industry conditions us to cover up what we don’t like about our skin without even considering why our skin looks the way it does.
Sometimes, the solution is as simple as sleeping more, drinking more water, and moving to a cleaner beauty and eating way of life.
It may be stress, for example. Stress releases cortisol. When this happens, we release cortisol, narrowing our arteries and causing our blood pressure to rise. As a result, the blood vessels under our eyes become more prominent because our skin is thinner on that area.
It could also be sun. If you are one of those (who like me), spent years enjoying the sun and the hyperpigmentation caused by it, the simple act of rubbing our eyes can cause the delicate skin to redden or bruise.
Hydration is important. When we are dehydrated, the thin and delicate skin under our eyes darken and sink. Also, too much alcohol or salt can make our eyes to puff up, especially when we wake up.
Remember, we are spiritual beings living physical experiences. Therefore, we need to take care of ourselves integrally. Meaning, you have to make sure to drink enough water, have a good-quality sleep night every day, exercise, eat well, and meditate often.
If you still want to conceal your dark circles, always use water-based, lightweight foundations that can add moisture under your eyes and brighten those dark areas. But always remember to use a high-quality, organic eye and face serum under your make-up.
Our Divas Never Age® anti-aging serums are made of natural, organic, vegan, and cruelty-free ingredients and they truly transform your skin. I know this because I design them, and I know what each ingredient does.
Try facial massage. It can help move fluid away from the area under your eyes. You can also use green tea bags that you have previously put in the fridge. Green tea is rich in antioxidants. Gently put the tea bags over your under-eye area and apply soft pressure. That will help move fluid away from there.
Remember, self-love is your most powerful tool. If you conquer it and are able to look at the mirror and confidently and honestly say “wow, you look gorgeous!”, you will walk out of your door and will be amazed at the impact that you will cause in everyone around you. You will also notice how things flow better in your life because you will feel and look attractive, and you will be celebrating yourself and feeling joy and happiness.
Confidence and self-esteem are your best beauty treatment!
I would love to know your thoughts about this. Are you ready to conquer your inner happiness and shine like never before? Tell us about it below.

This blog is so interesting!!! I absolutely love my eye serum and how it helps with my dark circles! It lifts, tightens and hydrates immediately and last for hours! Honestly, I need to do a before and after pic because since I have been using it, my crows feet have lessened ! Thank you Divas for this clean beauty that works!
Wow! I really had no idea of all that could cause that “tired” look most of us are uncomfortable about. I’ve been using the eye serum for a few months now and I feel so lucky I found this product. It has definitely helped me see my inner diva and boost my confidence.
